Emergency Plumbing

When Emergency Plumbing is the Right Fix

Burst supply line actively spraying water
Sewer backup into the house
Active flooding from a failed sump pump
No hot water in winter
Slab leak you just discovered
Frozen pipes that need thawing

Stop the damage first — call us second

Before we get there: find your main water shutoff and close it. It's usually in the basement near where the water service enters the wall, or in a utility closet on a slab home. If you have a gas water heater leak, also close the gas valve at the unit. Closing the supply stops the water flow, which stops the damage clock. Then call us — we'll talk you through anything else while a tech is rolling.

What 'live dispatcher' actually means

At 2am, you get a person, not a voicemail. That person can either get a tech to your house or — if the situation is something you can stabilize until morning — tell you how. We don't charge for the call. We charge when we show up at your door, and that price is on the invoice before we start.

After-hours pricing — what to expect

Emergency after-hours response (nights, weekends, holidays) adds a flat $295 dispatch fee to the repair cost. That's waived during normal business hours. We tell you that fee up front when you call, and we quote the repair work itself before we start it — no surprise add-ons in an emergency.

Emergency Plumbing — Frequently Asked

What counts as an emergency?

Active water spray, active flooding, active sewer backup, no heat in winter, no hot water in winter, gas smell. Slow drain that has been slow for a week is not an emergency and we'll schedule it during business hours at standard pricing.

How fast can you get here?

Inside our core service area (Overland Park, Lenexa, Leawood, Mission, Prairie Village, Merriam) we target 60 minutes after-hours. Further out (Spring Hill, Edgerton, Stilwell) target is 90 minutes.

Do you charge more on holidays?

The $295 after-hours dispatch fee applies the same on holidays. The repair labor rate is the same. We don't surge-price emergencies.
